Middle Tennessee Flood | Day 3

On May 2nd, the sky opened up and didn’t stop.  In a two day period Middle Tennessee received 1/3 of it’s total average rainfall.  People have perished and many lost everything they owned and do not have flood insurance.  The damage is massive.  As tempting as it was to get out yesterday and photograph the flood, I opted to stay home and be safe.  Today was my first day to get out and bear witness to the destruction.  The images below document the remnants of the flood and some of those impacted.  For those who suffered loss, my heart goes out to you.  I pray for restoration in your lives sooner rather than later.
